I installed the latest Desktop software and downloaded a bunch of 6 firmwares. Deleted the vendor.xml file but the loader.exe won't detect that I have a 6 firmware installed and ready to upgrade!

1. Do a Backup of your BB, using desktop manager

2. Then do a battery pull

3. Then make sure that the OS you have decided to install gets installed to PC first (double click on the downloaded file)

4.Then delete vendor.xml after its done installing

If it still won't connect to update the BB, try another BB Data Cable
