My tackpad has been inverted, in the sense that when I move up it goes to the right, when I move down it goes to the left, when I move right it goes up and when I move left it goes down.
Solutions tried but failed:
- Cleaning the blackberry and thumb with a dry cloth
- Reset blackberry (removing battery for some minutes)
- Changed the trackpad sensitivity
No it is not new.. My brother gave it to me after he got another phone. The trackpad was never replaced, the phone did fall a couple of times but nothing serious that needed repair.. and it was working fine. I have been using the phone for nearly a month and my brother had it like 1 year ago. I have also delete all apps just to be sure nothing is bugging it but still the problem remains. :(
I have seen a video on youtube where a guys sticks a cello tape on the trackpad and this is supposed to solve this problem. :s
My trackpad is fine right now, but sooner or later it will get inverted for some reasons :s

I believe the video on Youtube is to correct the connector issue. As devnull asked, damp or wet? Even a little can cause issues.
I searched the Rim data base for this issue and nothing is shown.
It could be an electronic failure that cannot be fixed easy.
well I guess it doesn't matter anymore. This has been happening so often I'm used to it now =\
I guess I should change the trackpad because no solution seems to work. Thanks anyways
