Ok, please be gentle. I spent over 5 hours just trying to figure this out.
I downloaded songs from a legal site, put them on my flash drive.
Bought an sd card so i could put songs on it, and listen to them on my blackberry.
Whenever I try to copy and paste a file onto my sd card, it says it is write-protected and i need to unprotect it or something.

By the time I figured out I had to unprotect it I have already wasted about 3 hours. So then I recorded the song on audacity and exported as a mp3 file. and that didnt work.

Plz help, anyone know how I can do this? And please explain very clearly, I know nothing about computers

Did you try using Desktop Manager for the transfer?
