So long. Farewell.
Please Login to Remove!
Auf wiedersehen. Goodbye.
Just ordered a Droid R2D2
I just wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for all the users who have helped, and put up with my presence. Its been a fun ride all the way back to my first (7520), sorry it has to end.
Look for a 8month old Blackberry Bold 9700 in the FS section.

You may decide to come back A family member has had a Droid for several months and a lot of the luster has warn off. I still believe, that at least for business and corporate use, the Blackberry is the premier device.

Re: So long. Farewell.
I hear ya, I'm still stuck with my Storm 2 for work but my Droid Incredible (corporate test phone) makes my life so much nicer. If and when it can do corporate email (to my companies security standards), RIM will be no more. It's days are numberd IMO unless something changes in a BIG way.

I haven't touched my BB in months since I switched to Android. I doubt I will be back to BB unless some major changes are made. It's not looking good.

Yes, and you were passionately in love with your iPhone before that, right?
You will go to the next consumer device that attracts you...

Yeah, pretty much, I'm not locked into anything. If I like it and it works well, I get it. I get bored pretty easily.

Re: So long. Farewell.
With BIS I get unlimited on device browsing on a bb, why go elsewhere? Nah, I'm gonna stick with RIM because down here in south africa we pay most for internet. Sure its on the small screen but atleast I'm connected.

Re: So long. Farewell.
I think the CES announced Motorola Atrix 4G is the first Android phone that will seriously challenge the BB on Enterprise needs. I just wish it were coming to TMO as well and not just ATT.
When and if the LG Optimus 2X comes to TMO-US, hopefullly in March, I'll also be leaving my fellow Blackberry 9700 users.

Will the battery last more than 4 hours?
Will ActiveSync support tasks and notes?

NJ, Why are you asking questions that could actually determine if the device was useable and useful? That has nothing to do with the kool faktor.
