Default Blackberry and...

I always carried a blackberry as my personal phone and just got one through work. I got the Tour but it's locked down pretty tight.

So for those of you that have to carry a work bb what is your "other" phone? I am rotating between a Bold 9650 and HTC Desire

I have two 9700's and one is on BES ( work) and the other is on BIS (my account)
I have everything i need on mine and keep the work stuff seperate.
I had a two 8310's also and found it easier to simply have the two.

If you like the Blackberry, get a personal one. If you want something else, try that. Same advice I'd give anyone whether they have a phone through work or not.

Like many users here, I recommend complete separation of work and personal, even if your work doesn't lock you down. In the past, I have carried two Tours (work and personal). Currently, I carry a Bold 9650 (work - government so locked down that I can't even use Bluetooth headset with it) and an iPhone.

For the past 6 years I had two phones (work and personal) and on more than one occasion I carried two BlackBerry devices. Currently, I have only one phone line, and I can't get BlackBerry service because I can't sign contracts in Afghanistan, so I have a HP Pre 2 and HTC Legend that I swap between.
