I've searched and can't find anything remotely like this. Requesting some assistance

When keyboard is unlocked, no notifier icons appear on upper display bar. When I lock the keyboard, what seems to be a Calendar icon with the number "1" is displayed. As if I had some pending event..

For the life of me, I cannot find any Task, Note or Calendar event that could be triggering this.

Anyone have any ideas on what this? Why it only appear when keyboard is locked? How I might clear it?

Its because a missed notification happened and you did not dismiss it. THe only way to clear is pull the battery.
