#1 If the conversion ends with only a few lines of text, check and make sure your Jar file has no spaces in it. If it does, remove the spaces, remake the Jad file, and try again.

#2 If the DOS conversion ends and the program never says Conversion successful thats a problem. IF you've checked and made sure you have no spaces in the jar name then retry converting it with debug mode on. Then when the Dos prompt stops, copy and paste what is says and post it.

#3 Or you can just send the Jars to me and I can see what I can do. =P

Mmm... You made sure there are no spaces in the Jad and Jar? Is this for all of what youve tried to convert?

Glad you like it Zach

Hmm... Its very rare that this error would pop up. Is your save directory different from your blackberry jde directory and your jar directory? Maybe its a bad jar. If u want you can email me it, and I can see what I can do.

New Version 1.3 - Almost batch conversion. Its alot easier to convert multiple files at once to ALX. Im pretty sure this will be the last update you need for a while =D.

FWIW, you aren't converting the JAR into an ALX file, but rather the COD file (assuming that's what you're doing here). The ALX file would be similar to a JAD file or the Manifest file found within a standard JAR. It's simply an XML-based installation instructions file that is parsed for correct information for Application Loader to install the actual installation files (COD, etc). The COD file, by definition, is obfuscated JAR file.

Just some clarification.

Hi all,

I'm a total noob to Blackberrys. I have no problem converting the jad/jar files and transfering them to my Blackberry (7100i), but when I actually try to play the games, I get this error :

Error starting <game>:Class 'javax.microedition.media.PlayerListener' not found

What does this mean? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Your welcome,

New minor update 1.3.1
Fixing the majority of Freezing problems. And it Now tells you if Jars are incompatable with J2A.
More little stuff you all prolly wont notice.

If the program freezes it means one of two things. Either there were spaces in the Jar Name, or you were converting multiple Jar files from different directories.
