Default battery question on 8700c

Please Login to Remove!

i have had an 8700c since december and have tried every tip on here to improve the battery life. i keep the screen brightness at 10 all the time, talk maybe an hour or so every two days, not too much data and email...but still the battery lasts only two days.

what i am wondering is whethere anyone else has experienced this. i dont think at this point there is much i can do as i have grown used to living with it.

thanks guys!

Two days? That's pretty good. I never get two days out of mine. Don't even try to - I charge it every night.

Make sure you have blue tooth turned off until you need it. That will definitely drain the battery much faster. Also, when I installed BB Weather, I noticed the battery drained real fast. After uninstalling the app, I was back to long lasting battery life. I also usually charge the phone every night. Even after heavy use throughout the day (email, phone, internet, games) it still rarely goes below 50%.

gotcha, the only reason i thought it was strange because i had remember people saying that they got around four days. i am happy with two days; i was just more curious than anything.

Check out the extended battery... I think it's in pre-order right now, but worth it.

The forum wont let me post a URL yet, but search on smartphonedepot.com

I have no idea how many days my battery lasts. I just need it to last from the time I wake up and unplug it until the time I go to bed and plug it in.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

I get about 5 days of average use out of my extended battery. I am glad I bought it because I hate charging my phone every night.

I was using the standard oem holster until I received my Fortte case. The BB did fit int the oem holster with the extended battery with no problem. Search the forum for a pic. There are a few posted.
