I have been using the ax2 for a few days now. battery life is good. pairing is easy. It responds really fast when u answer via talk button on headset.
sound is generally clear, and it is pretty loud.
Only issue is when u hit "c" for compose of the blkbry the headset will sometimes go into connected mode, speaker on and lights flashing like a call. When u send your message and exit the email screen it reverts to standby mode. It will sometimes stay in connected mode though. It is kinda annoying. but the unit is so small and portable that I found a work around. If you go to addresses first and select a contact to email it doesnt go into connect mode. If you are in pocket day and you hit "c" it likewise stays in idle mode.
I am overalll very happy with the device. I had a motorola hs801(?) and plantronics 320, and the ax2 wins due to its good sound and small size.
