Default Sync error with Outlook

Please Login to Remove!

Trying to sync my 8830 with Outlook. Get error message saying total of 1 record skipped, Adress Book: Device-0, Outlook-1, check sync log.
I assume this means one address in Outkook has a problem, but when I look at the log, there is nothing about this. Any suggestions about how I can find the problem. I have over 300 addresses. Thanks.

Default mine can't even see outlook

on my company computer (we are NOT running BES) the desktop manager does not even see outlook 2000. Outlook is on the company server through exchange but even when looking at it on my desktop the BB Manager does not see it for address book, calendar or anything. Ideas?

what version of desktop manager are you running?
To recognise outlook 2000 you must use 4.2 I believe.

Dumb question maybe--but do you have multiple profiles in Outlook?

The way it is set up outlook today is the main mail box with contacts and calendar just below. The company does have a public folders profile just below but my folders are listed first. The thing is DM doesn't see outlook at all.

Then theres you're problem.
You need a lower version of desktop manager for it to recognise outlook 2000.

It is so strange to go backwards. With the advances in the software you would think that that this would not be a problem. Can I run v5.0 at home but v4.2 at work would they clash? What about the auto update wouldn't the DM just up grade itself?

you can tell it not to look for updates when setting it up.
And yes, it seems strange, but Outlook 2000 is now 9 years old, and I suppose its expected that most people are on a newer verison.

They should clash, I wouldn't have thought.
