Unhappy Calendar Sync only one way

Please Login to Remove!

Dear all - this is my first post - pls be gentle!

I am busy doing a proof of concept deployment on BES (Exchange 2003) with a few of my users using both the 7100v and 7290 devices. As luck would have it I am the only one out of the lot whos calendar only syncs one way despite the fact that my settings are exactly the same as all! If I create an appointment in my Outlook Calendar it displays on the device, however creating an appointment on the device it does not display on the device - despite the transactional arrow showing that an update is being done!

I have also downloaded the latest Desktop Manager (4.0.1) and made sure all the PIM settings are as it should be (as per previous posts in the forum), i.e. BlackBerry Wireless Sync. My device (7100v) has been reinstalled a few times already and we even moved to another server!

Any ideas/suggestions??

Thanks
Pieter

I am also having this problem. Appointments placed on my desktop via Outlook show up on my 7520, but the appointments placed on my device never show up in Outlook on the desktop.

Has anyone had this problem and been able to resolve it?

It's actually a permissions issues on the Exchange server itselft with the BESAdmin account. Search through here and you'll find it or refer to the original installation guide for BES 4.0. I'm having the same problem, but have not been able to deploy the fix just yet. When I do, I'll reply back.

That's one possible fix. The other is quite a bit less involved.

If it's wireless then all you need to do is perform a "bulk load" for the calendar.
