Hello all, I have a question regarding my 8900 javelin. I don’t get a ring tone when I am getting a call. I have set the phone on loud but still all I get is vibrate?? I can play music but for some reason I do not get any ring tones or alerts for messages received like BBM. Any help would be great.

OS 5.0.0.411 seems to have problem on all these profile settings. ie. the incoming sound for the sms which i have setup is always not the same when the real sms comes.. same goes to email sound setting...some bugs are there i suppose

Why are you assuming he is running 411, nowwhere in his post does he mention this. Have you gone to Sounds --> Set Ring Tones/Alerts and checked the settings in there.

I am running OS 4.6.1.231, fratts where is the Sounds --> Set Ring Tones/Alerts located? thanks for the help
