I have recently purchased a bb curve 8520( from a third party who will not or cannot help me) with has got a p/word i have used 9/10 attempts to access the phone with no success. can anyone tell me how to unlock this blasted phone before i throw it up the wall. my local tmobile shop has suggested contacting bb themselves but i cannot find an address or email addresss. i am realy going nuts here.......

sounds suspicious to me. i would suggest returning the device and getting your money back.

After the 10th attempt it will wipe all data off the device, and reset, which I guess is what you'd want anyway, right?

Yes, after then10th attempt at a password is unsuccessful the BB resets itself. You're good to go right after it deletes all the old info. Perfect!
