Anyone know what the processor speed is like? Is it still the 250 mhz processor that was in the 7250? Is it confirmed that there is only 4 mb of RAM?

Do a search on the forum for the 7130e. You will find your answer.

All I can do is hope that the Ohio region is ahead of the NH region!...

Would anyone know anymore about different regions getting models earlier or later than others?

Verizon is offering it in their website, I just asked my rep to upgrade my phone to this. $299.00 not bad I was expecting much more. Hopefully I could use my $100 credit.

How does the data plans work. Did not see any prices.

I was offered $129 if I sign a 2yr agreement, plus another $100 credit since I haven't upgraded in the last 12 months.

Pretty sweet deal......the only problem is that I heard my co. might start supporting Treo as well...so I'm undecided about which type of handheld I want to go with.

I posted this in the 7100 forum but thought it might be helpful here as well.

I just ordered a 7130e from my Verizon Buisness Rep. Retail Price was $419.99, upgrade price was $149.99, my price with the new every two discount was $49.99. I will have it at 10am tomorrow morning and will try to answer any questions then. My calling plan with 450 anytime minutes, unlimited Verizon calling, unlimited nights and weekends, and unlimited data is $66.79 a month + taxes. I declined the tethering option at this time but may get it to try out.

Strange - the 7130e is no longer offered on the website for area code 10022 (Midtown NYC)

December 1st (in NH). My local store certainly has them in stock - they have 4 of them - but they say they can't set them up in the system until Dec 1st.

I have played with one, a demo they have ready for the store (not put out yet). I have purchased one (left it at the store) ready to pick up on Dec 1st when they say they will be able to enter/provision it in their system from a retail store.

I do believe you can order them on the phone through Customer Service but I've not tried that route as I' picking mine up on Thursday

Hope this helps.
