Try changing your emulation for your broswer. Thats what some of us had to do so it would work on TMO. We were having the same problem as you are having.

I've tried every browser on my handheld with no success. Am I missing something? Any suggestions? Tech support will not help me with a non-proprietary product.

Edit: I fixed it. I had to delete the email IPPP file as mentioned above, then I went to the host routing table and registered and it works. Thanks for all of your help.

are you talking about the big map of the whole US? Well if you are just keep pressing "O" to zoom out until its gets big enough for you.

Yes the whole US. Every time I restart it goes to the last open screen. I wanted to clear out but could't and I though the clear map would do it but using that seems to have no effect.

Nice app, I thought it was interesting you could see the whole world but scrolling, not sure if you can map directions globally, but you can see the big picture I was able to map my house, it didn't like a 9 digit zip code, I like the general interface, I guess now I have to go get lost, so I can use it to find my way home

From inside the app, chose "help", then "erase all".

Maybe someone already said this, but I suspect the limited models are, in fact, a way to get information at your screen real estate and your OS version. So if you've got a 71xx, you've got one type of screen, a 72xx another, etc. Just a thought.

Make sure you're using your BB Browser...not your internet browser on your BB...there's a difference, b/c if you use your BB browser it detects your handheld model for you and just agree to the terms and download it!

there are no choices to even choose when using the BB browser, it's a totally different screen (only words)...if you use the internet browser you'll see what you would on your PC, which is not the right way to do it

Angry Network Unavailable Message

Okay, been looking in this thread for any help regarding my problem...

I have a 8700c, and I keep getting the 'Network Unavailable' message, I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling, resetting, deleting service book entries, reregistering. I can access the internet through the WAP and BIS browsers, I also use BES, does anyone else have any suggestions?

This is getting a bit frustrating. Perhaps a troubleshooting page with all available means of troubleshooting listed? I've tried deleting service books and reregistering as well. I still keep getting the Network Unavailable message. I can browse websites with one of my browsers (the non Enterprise browser - the one that came with TMobile.). Whenever I try to load a page in the BES browser I get a Bad Request error message, however I can use the tMobile supplied browser to browse the internet.

I suspect this may have something to do with my problem. Any ideas?

Runs great on my 7100t/T-Mobile. What would make it even better would be a contextual menu, like with phone numbers. You highlight an address in the address book or an email, click the wheel, and select "find on Google Local".

Default It's working...

I removed the BES Browser service book and the application is working for me. Now I have to call RIM and figure out why my BES browser doesn't work. I hope it isn't that pipe split security thing...that is a major pain in the rear.
