Go direct to VM, do not pass go, do not collect 200
Please Login to Remove!
Hi, does anyone know if it is possible to have calls from a specific number go direct to voicemail? I do not want to send all calls direct to VM, just a couple of numbers - namely the Ex's numbers!
I don't want my phone to ring at all when she calls.
Any ideas?
Regards,

Also, I am seeing talk of the 4.5 OS, does this now support video on the curve?
Can someone summarize the new features for me - is it worth moving from 4.2?

Wirelessly posted (Curve 8330)
I haven't heard of a way to do that. I will look into it.

You can set the ringer to MUTE for that number.

Thnx Mama, I have done that, but she keeps calling and calling and calling when I am on the phone to other people and so on... just want her to go direct to VM, and no call waiting message or silent ringing or anything like that.

Yes you can send numbers directly to voicemail. All you need to do is setup a new Profile.
To set up a new profile to voice mail -> profile > advanced... > menu > new profile > give it a name, scroll down to phone > select phone > change to "none" for out of holster and in holster and change do not disturb to "yes" > exit and save phone setting > exit again and save profile. you can still have sms, mms, whatever active and set them to whatever tone and mode you like. do not use this profile as your main profile, use other profiles as an active profile.
To set up a new exception -> profile > advanced... > (if not already in the advanced screen) > menu > new exception > name exception > scroll down to from and add the phone number you don't want to answer (the number has to be in your phone book for this to work and i haven't found a way around this) > add more if you need > change use profile to the one you just created > change tone to "MUTE" > and uncheck custom phone tune > save and exit to the home screen.
Now when any of the phone number you added to the new exception should use the new profile you created with do not disturb setting and should go straight to voice mail.
