Thanks,

Wirelessly posted (White and Nerdy)

I got my first berry back in 2006 (pearl).

I liked the form factor of the device as well as the OS. Much simpler than other phones, but very very effective.

Lol. Good answer. Didn't she have her sidekick hacked or something like that?

I got a Blackberry because I, as well, was in politics. Prior to getting my first one, I had no idea how great the email was. The best part though is that I'd show my dad and explain them to him. He was always hesitant because he was a little intimidated by the "smart phone". When he finally got one, he questioned why he had waited so long.

I got one because akosnitzky had one and he looked so cool using it.

Actually I got one for the email capability.

I got mine because of the robust PIM capabilities and ability to sync with Outlook. Email and Internet are an added plus.

My wife complained that I never checked my e-mail or checked the calendar. Worked complained that I never checked my e-mail or checked the calendar. Now my life revolves around the little device. Plus I'm addicted to it!

Always had a cell phone and pda. Was a pain to carry both. Friend had a Pearl and was really impressed with its features, intuitiveness, and relative ease of use. Plus I was told at the time that the chicks really dig it.

I'm out in the field a lot for work. If I want to be lazy and mess around on my BlackBerry, no one can really say anything because I can just say "BlackBerry here, it's work related." Trying pulling that off with an iPhone or sidekick.

FYI to OP: I dont think Nokia is a carrier.
