Default superfluous gmail emails

Please Login to Remove!

whenever i send an email from my gmail account, it shows up on my phone.

if i send one from my device, it will show up instantly with the check mark to the side like any other email or message i send, but then an instant or two later i will receive a copy of the email from myself.

this happens, too, if i send an email on gmail not from my device--shortly thereafter i receive a copy of the message, sent by me, on my phone.

is there a way to stop this extra message from coming? i apologize if this is already on the forum somewhere, i did a quick search and couldn't find it.

thank you for your help!

Wirelessly posted (Its All About the U!)

That issue was fixed with previous upgrades. Go to your email settings on phone and resend your service books

If that doesn't work, just go to your Verizon BIS account online and delete then re-add your gmail account. It's more troublesome but it's fail-proof.

You need to create a filter on your BIS site and filter "do not send to HH".

As akosnitzky stated, this has since been resolved when BIS was upgraded to 2.6, but here is a thread that may be of some assistance.

This is no longer necessary.
