Default Onyx on verizon?

Please Login to Remove!

Does anyone know if the onyx will be available on Verizon? I have AT&T and my buddy Alex is getting a little jealous and he doesn't want a storm. I told him not to get the tour since the new phones are coming with trackpads. Has anyone seen anything other than AT&T T-mobile onyx test units?

Wirelessly posted (Lets Go Canes!)

I thought VZW will see Storm 2 9550 and 8530 next. The 9700 looks more like a trackpad version of VZWs Tour even though some call it the Bold 2. VZW should have what you want my mid 2010.

the Onyx is GSM.
A CDMA version may be available next year.

Wait for the Essex, which will be the Tour with Wifi, which pretty much sums up the same exact thing for the Bold 9700. Keep in mind that the only difference between the tour and essex is that the essex may come with a higher MP camera, and wifi, but have everything else i.e. cdma/gsm quad band, BT, GPS, etc.

Hopes this helps!

Ah but that keyboard! The keyboard on the Tour is just too damn small. Bold feels just right...

Slightly ironic comment considering you are in the 9700 part of the board and that phone's keyboard is smaller than both the bold and tour.
