Default Returned, Got a new one, question

Please Login to Remove!

I broke my other curve, but it was under warrenty and they gave me a new one. However i have a question about the keyboard. On my other curve i was allowed to hold shift and press a key and it would register and capitalize that key. (in other words, i could press 2 keys at once, and it would register both). On my new one i cannot press 2 keys at once, and it slows down my texting alot because it will skip letters. i cant figure out how to change that, if you even can. can someone please help me?

That's a very strange problem. It works fine on my 8320. I tried holding the SHIFT key and I was able to type in caps while I held it down, I tried just pressing the SHIFT key once then letting it up and the next letter I typed was in caps.

I guess I don't understand the issue much from the way you described it. You're trying to type two letters at the same time or just trying to hold the SHIFT key down while pressing the letter you want to capitalize? If it's the latter, just press and release the SHIFT key. That's all you need to do really.

its a weird ass problem, lol sorry i dont really know how to explain it. im just so usd to the way my other one worked. and if i hold the shift key, or any other key i cannot press another key at the same time. it has to make sure the previous key that i pressed is completly released before another will register, its just really annoying because i got so accustomed to the way my toher blackberry had worked. is there any option that i can change to fix this prolem?

I ran through the options on my 8320 real quick and didn't see anything that might be what you're looking for. Perhaps someone else will know.
