Default Are Bolds hot (literally)?

Please Login to Remove!

I just received my first Bold through AT&T (got a refurbished
unit for free through Premier!).

After taking my first call, I noticed the handset seemed to be quite warm compared to the Curve (both the screen as well as the back cover).

Does this sound normal for the bold to be warm during a call? It appears to be cooling back down since I finished the call.

Wirelessly posted (White and Nerdy)

They get hot when plugged in to charger or compy. They shouldn't be too hot if they arnt plugged in

yes long calls can make the handset warm. its a) incresed usage and b) because your holding it for so long.

Thanks for the replies!

I'm guessing the combination of talking on the phone while it was still charging is what I'm experiencing.

So far I am super impressed with the processor, and screen. Hoping I'll get used to the bigger form factor. Of course when I went from the 8700 to the 8310, I thought that felt too small. Guess I should've just gone from the 8700 to the 9000
