Default My T-Mobile calling 8320 a 7100t???

Please Login to Remove!

When I login to My T-Mobile, it says I am currently using a 7100t. When I switch it manually to a Curve, it reverts to the 7100t after a while.

Is anyone else having this same issue? It almost seems like T-Mobile has their IMEIs mixed up... I sure hope this does not mess up my rebate..

how long has it been since you received the new phone?

mine did the same thing... i had logged in and changed it to download some software... and when i went back the next day for something else, it was my old 7100t again. so i changed it once again.

i checked it just now and it hasn't changed back to my 7100t. if you haven't set up your email, you should do that i think.

The thing is, I've never had a 7100t.

Before this 8320, I had a Pearl and it showed up correctly. Now I am selling that Pearl on eBay (Currently $202.50 with 30 mintes left.. woo hoo.. might cancel out of $ of the Curve purchase!! heh.)

I just swapped the sim and it asked me if I wanted to change from the old PIN. I said yes and everything updated. I've already reconfigured everything on here, sent it service books and all, yet it still reports wrong on My T-Mo.

Yes, I know. It is even very scratched (the display has a small scratch, the back cover looks like I took a steel wool pad to it) and I explained it almost exactly like that. I did explain the cheap replacement back covers (~$10) available online...

I think it helps that it is unlocked.

Mine showed up as a 7100t too, haven't logged in again. I get my software upgrades from here, so I could care less what MyTmobile page shows.

Default Call 611

I know its annoying guys, but its fixable. Call 611, DO NOT ask for Blackberry/PDA. Not necessary. Explain the situation to which ever front line rep answers, advise them its NOT a PDA specific issue but it should be corrected, they should file a HELP DESK ticket. NOT a trouble ticket, a HELP DESK ticket. Incorrect phones on the profile is not a common thing, but its not a new thing either.

Wirelessly posted (8320: BlackBerry8320/4.2.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

Same thing here only I had a 7105t. I changed and whebi went back in it didn't take it. I remembered that I didn't log out, I simply closed the browser. So the second time I made sure to log out and it sticked. On an interesting note however. I gave my wife my 7105t and when I check here account for billing discrepancy the phone was changed from a moto v180. Interesting.

I switched from the Pearl to the Curve on the Tmo.com website and it went back to the Pearl. I changed it again and logged out and it is staying on the Curve now.
