The last email I received was on Aug 13th. Since then, no email has arrived on my BlackBerry even though there were emails in the inbox.

Other emails services (Yahoo and gmail) work just fine.

I don't remember if Aug 13 was the date that I switched to use outlook.com.

I've removed the account and add it back. and the confirmation email did arrive on BlackBerry. Still, no email after that.

Does anyone know how to troubleshoot?

Have you checked the Carriers BIS server to see if the account is there?

Checked. Strangely, all my email accounts have an icon in front it. I have to re-enter the password to validate all of them. Now the email appears to be flowing.

It's not unheard of for a BlackBerry to lose the linkage to an email account. Hotmail has a history of being problematic in this regard. As you have discovered, the fix is to log into BIS and re-enter the account password.
