HELP: won't connect using provider network

I have problem with my 8900 today. Since morning, I cannot connect using my provider network, even though it shows EDGE on the top right side and has strong signal. I can use the phone for calling and SMS without problem. I can also connect using wi-fi, only connect using the provider network won't work. I checked with the provider and they said they didn't have problem with the BB network. Have you ever got the same problem? FYI, I use the OS 5.0.0.509. Any suggestions?
