As for me i have been able to fix most of my problems by tweak certain parts of code and settings

hoping these and more fixes are addressed in a future OS update not in a new product release.

Apparently version early on decided to dumjp all inventory of this product the two for one discount from day one.

Given the fact the only difference in this phone is the interface everything is pretty much the same to other BB's

RIM confirms Blackberry Storm 2 for 2009 - SlashGear

A 2nd generation device is not an admission of faults. It is simply the next generation. A 3rd generation Storm is in the works so I guess you can write off the 2nd generation before it is even released.
