Default Volume Buttons are jammed

Please Login to Remove!

I dropped my phone and it works fine, but my volume buttons are jammed. I can't press them in. It's wierd because when I dropped my phone it didn't hit on the side with the volume buttons. When I say the volume buttons are jammed, I mean I can't press them in physically. Is this easy to fix if I take the phone apart?

I've heard of this happening before. However, I don't know whether it's fixable or not. This may help, though:

Wirelessly posted (Opera/8.01 (J2ME/MIDP; Opera Mini/3.1.7196/1690; en; U; ssr))

I sent in my previous phone for this reason. I didn't feel like voiding the warranty and the phone had other issues that had needed to be addressed by a replacement. If your phone is still under warranty, why not just get it replaced?

I had a problem with my convenience key that sounds a lot like your problem. I took the side off (it just pulls off.. see the link John Clark posted) and I found a little piece of sand or something back there.

I have insurance on it but I don't want to replace it with a refurbished phone. I'll have to buy a torx 6 screw driver tommorow.
