Default Curve will not syn contacts in mac

Please Login to Remove!

Neither my husband's or my BB Curve 8300 will sync contacts from the BB to the computer. I am using a desktop OS X and trying to sync my contacts to my Mac Address Book and my husband is on a Macbook using OS X and trying to sync his contacts from his phone to Entourage. Neither work.
The tasks and calendars sync just fine. Can anyone advise? Is the new Desktop Maager for Mac going to correct this problem? We desperately need to back up our contacts onto our computers.
Thanks!

Probably. It's due out this month.

Are you using PocketMac or Missing Sync with the Macs? Or are you using Windows in VMware or Boot Camp? Until the Desktop Manager for Mac is released (soon-ish), Macs don't sync with BlackBerrys unless you use something like those options I mentioned.

After having used the BB Desktop Manager for Mac just the other night, I have to say it worked absolutely fine syncing my Calendars, Address Book, Music, Tasks and Notes on my Curve 8330. I don't use Entourage, though, and can't make any claims as to that - though if Entourage is set up to sync to the Mac Address Book / iCal then it should all sync up fine.
