I had a case where some syrup got in device and the issue went from button to button and eventually dissolved.

well this phone is the one I got after an insurance claim so im almost positive that its a refurb, that may be the problem to!?

I just got mine 2 nights ago and my "N" key does not always function when I hit it.

I had the same issue 3 days ago with the spacebar key. I disassembled the phone, removed the keypad, cleaned it and reassembled the phone. It works perfectly now. The whole process took 5 minutes. The disassembly instructions are at the top of of the 8300 board. Simple and easy to follow.

If it's a refurb, I had 3 BB curves with different keys with problems. My 4th one worked great...go figure
