Default MDS Services Logon?

Please Login to Remove!

I recently installed BES 4.1.2 on a new server. In the BlackBerry manager there is an MDS server listed via a URL "https://server.domain.com:7443/mds".

When I try to click on this server or try to access the URL via IE it prompts me for a username and password. I don't remember ever setting this. I tried using the BES service account, my own Admin account, the local admin account, but nothing works.

Is there a default logon that is automatically set for this or is there somewhere that I can manually changes this?

Thanks.

When you installed the BES it made you put in credentials for this. I have the same issue. use the username "Admin" and most likely put in your bes accounts password...

I ended up doing a repair/reinstall and saw that. I guess I should have read what I was setting a password for.

Now I have another problem. I now enter the username/password and I get a screen that says "Please use the following Wizard to install the certificate being offered from the MDS Services server, then press OK". Well there is no wizard, only the OK button. When I click OK, the screen goes away and then I get the MDS Services screen with the error "There are errors in retrieving data from this server..."

Thanks.

Yes. This password is set up during the initial installation. Usually the username is "admin" and you set the password during setup.

Thanks,

But mine is not a password issue. I have installed the certificate, and logged in. I get the same error.
