[Horseshoe]

I've never had any problems with my Blackberry and Gmail account but recently I've encountered a very strange problem, here goes:

I receive emails without the body of the email BUT, if it's a reply, the ORIGINAL MESSAGE shows up.

For example in a regular email it shows:

To: Horseshoe
Subject: RE: Blackberry
Message: I don't know what the prob is man

---Original Message---
From: Horseshoe
To: Joe Smith
Subject: Blackberry
Message: What's up with my Berry and Gmail?
"

Now, I've encountered a problem, where once this message hits my blackberry, it shows up like this

Message: [MISSING TEXT????????????]

It ONLY shows the ORIGINAL message, and the body of the text is missing. This is extremely strange... not quite sure what to do - I've searched the forums and have had 0 luck.

The link you sent states that it's an internal BIS problem where Blackberry doesn't appropriately convert rich-text emails - why is this a problem now?? I used to receive rich-text emails from gmail fine all the time - all of a sudden it's a problem?

I'm not sure if the emails that are "blank" are coming from solely gmail users, but the few emails that I have received that are blank are from gmail-users....

it happened to me. tell people to send to you in plain text until RIM fixes the issue

That happened to me with yahoo email. T-Moible support suggested updating desk top manager and handset software. I just did it yesterday and it appeared to have resolved the problem for now.
