Default 9700 Screen Protector Needed

Please Login to Remove!

I have some made by ScreenGuardz right now and don't like them, they are flimsy, have bubbles, and easily mark.

I had some a while ago that were more of a hard plastic that I liked but I can't remember who made them. Can anyone recommend one?

T Mobile sells a pack of 10 sheets. You have to cuit out the size you need, but they are the best I've seen. They are the harder material you are talking about. I think its made bt Fellows. I got my pack of ten for $14.95. Each sheet is good for about 2 Bold 9700 screen gaurds. I don't think you will need twenty though. I put one on my brother in laws Pearl over a year ago and its still in great shape. Hope this helps.

I think it comes in glossy and matte. I prefer the matte, its kind of anti glare.

Actually most mobile phone stores, or small electronic store sells them too. They also sell the privacy ones so people can't see your phone at an angle.

I'm curious on how it fits on the 9700.

Screenpatronus has to be put on a flat surface. Looking at the 9700, the side edges angle down.

I just put on a BSE Skin ever. The screen protector worked pretty good on it. I'm happy with the finish. It took a while for the sides to fit.

Its cut to fit from the top (right below) the BB logo and bottom (above the keys. Side to side it covers up the screen until it starts beveling (angles).. Its a really good fit for the 9700..

I figured it'd be like that.

But curious..from my experience with screen patronus the "seal" is around the edge of the screen protector, so wouldn't that intrude with the view?

Pictures by any chance?

This is my third device using these and I can tell you they never fully lay flat to the screen. There are very small portions of it that don't take and I am fine with that being the clarity and durability are fabulous. However, it never impairs the screen view and can only be noticed when the screen is off..

I will try and take a pic and send it to you..

I'm also looking. A long time ago I ordered one from Martin Fields (I think for an HTC TyTn) and it was great. Always very clear and stayed on perfectly. You could also remove it, clean it, and put it right back on. Not sure if I want to order another one for my 9700 as they are on the pricey side ($16.99 for one), but we'll see.

@ --- MartinFields.com --- @ - Product

Honestly, I think the only reason I ordered the first one was because I liked the layout of the website.

Geez... I found my old invoice from November 06 and I paid $12.99 for the screen protector, and $5.99 shipping. Now even the shipping is $9.99 (supposedly 50% off). Do I want to spend $27 on a single screen protector?

Case-mates screen protectors go on the easiest, have no bubbles and stay put! I have tried dozens over the years and I will stick with these.

They sent me a sample when I bought a case and I'm VERY clad they did.

They are reasonable priced too!

I'm using the Invisible Shield from Best Buy. Fits right, is very thick, and no visibility problems.

I got mine online, its like a mirrored screen protector that lets you view your screen normally when lit up, and then turns into a mirrored surface once the back light goes out.
