I bought this 9630 on craigslist. It came off the verizon network. Ordered an unlock code through cellphoneunlocker.com and I thought I had a code when I visited the website. Put my ATT card in and tried this code, but it is still associated to the verizon network, and now it doesn't ask for another unlock lock.

What am I to do?

When it asked for that code the first time it was prompting me about "the 10 times thing" .....

First, contact the unlock code seller for instructions on entering the code.

Second, do not enter the unlock code incorrectly more than 9 times, or your device will become useless.

ALso please note that unlocking the phone successfully does remove the Verizon branding and splash screen that appear upon start up.

Well I got it unlocked and its working on ATT.

You mean "does not" remove.....

True, but was able to change the theme properties to a personal picture. So now there only a verizon logo just below the keyboard

And when you reboot the device, you will see the Verizon logo briefly upon startup.
