Default OS 4.5 - BES 4.1.5 - No Meeting Emails are going out

Please Login to Remove!

All:

I am testing out OS 4.5, and have upgraded to BES 4.1.5

Whenever i go into calendar and create a NEW appointment, and invite meeting attendees, those emails never go out from my blackberry.

Has anyone else run into this?

* is the calendar set to synch by air?
* do you get updates in the calendar of the berry after your outlook calendar has been modified?

If both questions above are YES, then the enxt step i would do is to perform a handheld wipe on your berry device and resynch it.

Both answers are in fact yes.

Are you telling me that you have BBOS 4.5.x and BES 4.1.5 and meeting requests are working for you?

There are lots more things you can do before wiping the device... but we need to know how you have things setup, and do you have access to the desktop and the BES?

Some ideas for things to try/look at are:
- Does the BES show Wireless Calendar Sync is enabled for the user?
- Does the Desktop Manger show Wireless Calendar Sync is enabled for the user?
- Does the HH Calendar show Wireless Calendar Sync is enabled for the user?
- Can other users on the BES send calendar invites?
- Does IEMSTest work on the BES? (under the Utility folder of the BES)?

From what I can tell this is a 4.5 OS issue. All other users work.

I'm just looking for confirmation from users who have OS 4.5.x and BES 4.1.5 installed.

Wireless sync works in every possible combination. (Even on my 4.5 device)

The ONLY thing that doesn't happen, is that an email is not sent out to the meeting attendees.

The calendar item is STILL created, and any changes I make are sync'd in all directions.

If i create a meeting in outlook, the email is sent.

If i create the meeting on the BB, the email is NOT sent.

If i change a meeting in outlook the changes are synced to the blackberry and the email is sent.

If i change the meeting on the BBerry the changes ARE sync'd BUT the email does NOT go out.

I'm running .37 and BES 4.1.5 and it works fine for me. I can setup an appt on my BB, invite attendees and they receive my email invitations.
