1. - go to http://att.blackberry.com/
2. - if you have an account log in. if you don't create one (with your 9700 info)
3. - once created log out and back in and go to "change device" option. youll simply need to change the PIN number to the new device (Storm).
4. - Once that is done go to Settings>Advanced Setting>TCP/IP and change your APN information.
APN: wap.cingular
UserName: [email address]
Password: CINGULAR1
5. - pull ur battery and wait the long ass time it takes to reload
6. - never visit this site again as there are others that have better information like CRACKBERRY.COM (for example the AT&T Service Books)

P.S - thats the reason i never came back to this site!
Did you even make an attempt to read what I posted in post #2?? Sheesh!!

My apologies to you, too, Mama. I'm so embarrassed.

OK, then you have NOT followed the steps in the link in Post #2 above... which have NO references to Crackutil.

Follow the directions, clearly posted. I've done what you're trying to do over a 100 times. It works IF you follow the steps exactly as written.

It will NOT work if you skip a step, make up your own step or try to shortcut something. If you have questions about THAT process in the link, ask those questions in that thread, not this one.

I'll be glad to help, just state which specific step of the process you're having issues with.

You're fine. It's easy to miss things like that. It's happened to all of us.
