Is this possible? My girlfriend is Turkish and they use all these wacky characters, bless them.

(oh...I am buying on PAYG in the UK and bringing it here)

panther, chill out. If you knew how spiders and SEO optimizers on the internet worked, you wouldn't be so surprised at 13 or even 100 views without yet an reply to your thread. Click the link above and edumacate yerself.

Be nice or find another forum that enjoys your type.

For your issue... yes, you can have other languages on the device and you can purchase other keyboards, try truesupplier.com or cnn.cn

Thankyou JSanders. That is exactly what I wanted to hear.

My sincerest apologies to the spiders. You were just doing your job. I see that now.

Talk to me about this 9105, JSanders. Should I really take the plunge? I was thinking seriously about a budget android (Orange San Francisco) but I desperately want to join the Blackbrery gang.

Are you American? Do you have the 9100? If so I envy you...this three button per key malarkey is hardly ideal but...hey ho...the 9105 packs a lot of punch for a phone that's 150 pounds on PAYG.

Your thoughts, Sir?

Thanks, I think it is Devnull who is owed an apology.

I don't have either 9100/9105, only played with both. They are good solid BlackBerrys if you desire the reduced keyboard and smaller form factor. Me, if I were choosing between the 9100 and 9105, I'd take the 9100 because I prefer the SureType keyboard of the 9100. It takes a couple weeks to learn SureType and become accustomed, but afterwards those are patient enough to learn it, love it.

Agreed.

We can only get the 9105 in the UK, though. I have no idea why the 9105 was even released...what's the point of it?

Hold on...surely BB didn't make two almost identical phones. The button gubbins must be the same underneath, mustn't it?

Can't I just pop a 9100 keypad on my 9105?

Nope they are different and they were released for different markets. There is a segment of consumers who want the t9 type key pad and the innards beneath are not the same, you can't pop a 9100 keyboard on the 9105. They are actually two different models.

Who interviewed this retarded segment?

If they want t9 I have a drawer full of old Nokias they can have. Disgusting Luddites spoiling things for the whole of Europe.

Honestly.

If you want a 9100, just get one from another place, unlock it and put it on your carrier.
