Is there any word on when the new Pearl will be coming out or even announced?

can't wait to test drive this thing... the track pad takes some getting used to but even after replacing my trackball for $10 on crackberry a couple of weeks later its flaky.

Here is the link to their site. Is the credability to their posting or just speculation?

So is the new Pearl going to be released or not? I've seen nothing new about it for a couple of months now and all of the original release dates have flown by.

My wife's alltel pearl that was moved over to vzw has finally died. I put her on an old curve I had. She loves the pearl form factor and suretype (blech). This is the device she is waiting on.

Same here, I loved the form factor on my 8100 and then upgrade it to the 8220... since I wanted a new phone I decided for the 8520 white cuz I love how it looks but I miss the suretype. I still have the 8100 and the 8220 as spear phones but I'm 100% sure that I would love this phone or a flip with a trackpad.
