Please Login to Remove!

Im completely new to this phone. and am pretty much using only the apps that came with the blackberry (except the one locking the screen during calls) what are some other aps that you all seem to like and work well and where can they be downloaded? I want to get everything I can out of my new phone so any good aps, or maybe things already on the phone most dont take advaNntage of would be great! Thanks for any help!

Check out the websites Handango.com and Crackberry .com. They are excellent and reliable sources for 3rd party apps. Make sure that you get software that can be trialed on the Storm. Do not trust any software that says it is compatible until you check it out for your self. I use a lot of 3rd party apps and have had a lot of issues transitioning to the Storm. It has been worth it as I have found many first class apps that are compatible. You can also search this forum and a site called Storm Wiki for lists of compatible applications. 73

LOL, the phone does indeed work ... And there are many 3rd party developers working on applications as this post is being typed.

Viigo and TalkLock are a must have:

TalkLock: Keeps you from hitting buttons while talking.

Viigo: I mainly use this for rss feeds, but has a lot more useful channels that you can add.

Have that worked out a lot of the bugs in Viigo? .. I used to love it on my curve, it was very slow and clumsy on my Storm.

It hasn't messed up on me any.... yet. Have been using it for a few days. It was slow initially, but got better after I got rid of all the crap they had on their. I mainly use it for sports scores (which is great) and all the FOX feeds.

I am using ver. 3.0.710
Don't know if you remember which you were using.
I would definitely suggest deleting all the unwanted stuff first.
