So the BB World party is at universal studios this year? How will that work, we have to get a ride over there? Is a ticket needed? My wife is traveling with me, any way to get her in without a large fee on an extra ticket?

Yes. Likely similar to the at&t party. They have bus shuttles heading over. Your wife will need a companion pass. There is also a party only invite this year but the companion is worth it as it provides meals for the conference.

Monday's reception is an evening event with dinner buffets and the Showcase Solution being open.
All days are swagfests. Lots of vendors either (a) run out of stuff early or (b) have so much they are unloading several on Thursday.

Monday evening reception = free drinks
Tuesday evening Party = free drinks
Wednesday evening carrier parties / vendor events = free drinks 95% of the time

Bottled water and other various drinks & snacks are available on the conference floor throughout the day.

I remember one year where regular coffee and sugar-filled pastries were served for breakfast. Then Mountain Dew and energy bars were served for snacks.
Not a great combination for 5000+ Type-A, high tech, high-strung personalities at a gadget conference with an open bar. LOL
It sure made for some interesting times. (For those that were there and can remember.... Poor Matt. I wonder if he ever found his hotel room again.)

Almost every set in the metropolitan area of the studios was inspired by scenes from films set in New York. You'll feel like you're "on location" on the bustling streets of Manhattan.

Shuttle service between Universal Studios Orlando and BlackBerry World hotels is available from 6:30pm until the end of the event.

BlackBerry World attendees with a Full Conference Pass or a Companion Pass have access to the BlackBerry World Party as part of their conference pass. Attendees with a Business Development Pass or a One-Day Pass can purchase a BlackBerry World Party Pass separately for $149 USD.

It was Will.I.am again last year.
Nothing on this year yet. I really don't know if there will be a headliner since the BlackBerry World party is at Universal Studios.

Oh I am so down with Blue Man Group. Just saw them for the 6th time a few weeks ago. If the Verizon Party is at the Blue Man Aquos Theater, that would be flippin sweet! I'm gonna be there; no doubt!
