I have had problems syncind my bold to my mac laptop it gives error message of slipping - any ideas please?

Hey there,

I have had this blackberry for just over two weeks. I use a Mac Powerbook G4.

I downloaded the PocketMac stuff and the updated drive and my first synch worked fine, updating all my contacts and calendar.

However, on my Mac I updated my address book by merging some details and including email addresses, and i have attempted nearly twenty synchs and it is making no updates to my blackberry contacts whatsoever? Does it not synch email addresses? How bloody ridiculous?

Anyone got any clues?

I have been unsuccessfully trying to sync my MacBook iCal and Address Book with my new Blackberry Pearl using PocketMac. I keep getting a "communication error" message - "skipping". I've done some troubleshooting via the PocketMac support site, and followed instructions to change some settings under the "Media Card" options on my BB. Still no luck. Please help??

yeah tried this but this but this requires V 10.5 for OS X. I'm running 10.4 tiger. Any help here??

yeah i have tried that but i am still running tiger version 10.4 and you have leopard version 10.5 for that software, i am looking for the program before that if you can help.

Greetings all, I've done a quick search through the forums, however, I couldn't find any information about synchronization of emails on BB x Entourage.

I have downloaded the BB Desktop Manager, but couldn't find any options to sync emails. The only options I found were:

- Calendar;
- Contacts;
- Notes;
- Tasks.

But not emails. I send emails from BB, but they don't go to my sent items in Entourage, and vice-versa.

I delete emails in my BB, but it doesn't delete emails on my Entourage, and vice-versa.

However, if I delete emails on BB before I have downloaded emails on Entourage, it will delete the emails on the server, therefore Entourage will not download that email.

I was wondering if sync between BB and Entourage is possible, or the sync is really just between BB and server.

Sennas: you need a BES server for this to work. If you can't get that from your job, there are several $20/month solutions advertised heavily on this site.

I use link2exchange, but there are many others.
