Please Login to Remove!

Starting with BES 4.1.5 you can send BES messages to a folder of its own without the need of third party software like BES Mailbox. Here's how:

You know I spotted this a while back. It was something I really wanted. But at that time I really knew very little about our SQL databases. I was very green and did not want to mess with anything.

Now I know a lot more and I thank you for pointing this back out. It worked like a charm and my department head will be very happy.

I tried this and it failed as being unable to connect to DB
any hints?

Make sure it's looking for the correct server that hosts your database:

bbdbupdate -n <server_name> -db <database_name> -input EnableBESOnlyMessageApplication.sql

bbdbupdate -n <server_name> -db <database_name> -input EnableBESOnlyMessageApplication.sql -dbauth
bbdbupdate -n <server_name> -db <database_name> -input EnableBESOnlyMessageApplication.sql -dbuser (username) -dbpass (password

bbdbupdate -n <server_name> -db <database_name> -input EnableBESOnlyMessageApplication.sql
Once I spelled it all correctly
