Hi,
I just purchased my first blackberry!
Blackberry 8700!
I got it from ebay and they told em it was unlocked, but turns out it was locked. Now i'm just waiting to unlock it by IMEI thingy.
Anyways, so the phone is not brand new. It was used by previous owner and currently it is locked to Cincinnati Bell i think...because whenever i turn the phone off it says "Cincinnati Bell".
Since i just got started with blackberry i have no idea what i have to do. I came here looking for some helps and guides!
anyways first i'd like to Master Reset the phone if that's available! is it?
i couldn't find it anywhere on the tools & options. Because on the main screen there is this icon of some email address which does not belong to me. I really want to get rid of this icon or change it to my email or something like that.
Also i currently have the unlimited internet service from Cingular. Does that work with blackberry? or do i have to purchase one of those Blackberry Internet Service to use the internet? Also i'd like to configure my blackberry to Cingular. Since it was not from cingular, i need to do the setup all over again. Is there any easy way to do this?
