My 9700 has a blank area 1.25" X 1.5" since turning on this morning, battery pull X 10= No help, soft reset= No help, Re-Sync= No help, What is the problem, and how can I fix it.... Nothing works at all !! Help !!

I rolled back to 5.0.330 software, and this seems to have "fixed" it for now... I will reinstall the latest software later tonight and see how it does. Wish me luck !

How long have you had this phone? If you purchased it recently I'd return it and not chance a problem again down the road.

If this was the result of an upgrade, make absolutely sure that you have the right OS upgrade file for your device.
