Any version past .37 breaks the camera. If you take pictures on your phone, this may be a deal breaker...

I did nothing special. For me UMA just worked. Handoff seems to work fine

I have no camera problems wth 4.5.0.52 either. Only issue I've seen is no voicemail indicator, but I switched to youmail, so it doesn't matter.

Take easy there guy. Have some respect.

I wiped my phone and installed .52 and the problems with the camera are still persistent.

I see you have the 8100 as well. I find it dubious that yours works. Care to take some shots and show us?

It even searches for upgrades, but for obvious reasons it doesn't find any yet. Jim

I read in other places that the reason UMA didn't work on 4.5 was because the root certificate from 4.3 was replaced when people did the upgrade but restored backups (like calendar, contacts, and such) and included the old root certificate.

Do you know if you did any "restore" of 4.3 backups?

I did a complete restore of all my backups and UMA just worked on 4.5. I don't know anything about 4.5 having new root certificates, but I doubt it.

Sorry you won't get that here. Read the rules and search Google.

I have found it to be very stable. STill has the memory leak but we have dealt with that for a long time.

There's a locked main topic on upgrading to 4.5 with a link. Not sure what the difference is.

There seems to be some memory leak issues with os 4.5 on the 8120. I am working with RIM on the version that I have. They gave me a tool to send them my device memory dumps. But then, I also have over 30 3rd party apps installed on my 8120.

You are going to have memory leaks with many of those third-party apps like BBweather, Viigo, Google Maps, WLS, etc...
