Slacker is a great piece of software. I do however wish Pandora would hurry up and get their client out for the Storm.

1.0.11 is a newer build than 1.0.3. That's why i posted. It was leaked yesterday by someone from Slacker. Its designed for the STORM.

Brought up the slacker website on my Storm's browser tonight and it says "The Slacker Radio Application is coming soon for the BlackBerry Storm"

So I just bookmarked it and will keep checking every now and then.

Even the current version is workable, you just need to move your thumbs in the opposite direction and click as needed. I like this application alot!!

The original poster on CB took down the link. He said he was leaking it and he was from Slacker. I think they're working on the problems we mentioned in the thread. THe new update makes the text bigger and other improvements but the same problem with the sound cutting off exists. He did say it was a known bug and they were working on it 'now'. Stay tuned.

1.03 works fine with compatability mode turned off, so you dont have to do the weird "move your thumbs in the opposite direction" stuff.

Hm, I just tried to download it and it still says something about the client coming soon for the BlackBerry Storm. Did I miss something?

Just go to http://www.slacker.com/dwls/bb/slacker_mobile.jad to skip the model detection part and you'll be all set. Remember to turn compatibility mode off for the app after install.

I just checked Slacker out for the first time a few minutes ago and it seems WAY better than nutsie. Better selection and FREE. Already cancelled nutsie.

Thanks for the tip, worked like a charm. I'm in the process of trying to fill create an account and it's pretty painful as stuff is hard to select. Oh well.

Well, sorry to keep posting in here but I've noticed a couple trends - the last 20 seconds of whatever song I'm listening to get chopped off so the phone can "buffer". Also, to get the song to play audibly through the speaker on the back of the phone after a song change I have to adjust the volume up myself. Anyone else experiencing this?

I have noticed the above as well. I am anxiously awaiting a Storm specific version. I just purchased a year of Slacker Radio Plus, I love not having commercials and being able to skip as much as I would like.
