I sincerely doubt you have the proper BlackBerry Data service required to use your device.
If you did, it would simply work.

What does the signal indicator read on your phone?
GSM? gprs? GPRS? edge? EDGE? 3g? 3G? 3G BB?
Upper and lower case letters make a big difference. Be specific.

also... i try and set up my email on the bb and it says has your bb enterprise server admin provided u with an enterprise activation key password......


when the shop unlocked my phone they tested it with a 02 sim and i got a message saying its now activated wireless or something... im soooo soooo stressed with this.... plllease gimme a hand lol

Sounds like you have BES access and not BIS. Are you trying to set up for a company or is this for personal use?

personal use....i was in town earlier and it showed GPRS... then wen i get home its EDGE

But if you have BIS you should see the option to add internet email addresses when you run the setup wizard or when you run the manage internet email app. I see what Dubdub is thinking given that you don't see this option but yet you do have EDGE and GPRS. (... which you do, in all caps, right?)

Things about your situation and what you've been told aren't adding up.
