Default Help!!!!!!!!!!!!! All MY Curve info is gone.

Please Login to Remove!

I let my cousin borrow my phone to make a call. When I got the phone back 3 hours later everything is gone. My contacts, texts and emails and my web bookmarks totally wiped out. What happened? And how do I get my contacts back? I'm livid and crying in disbelief I had over 150 contacts. Help!!!!!!!!!

Your cousin wiped/erased your BlackBerry. He probably put in a password, forgot what he typed so he was locked out, panicked and tried to enter the password 10 times, confirmed the device's imminent deletion, and never bothered to tell you.

The ONLY thing you can do is restore from your most recent backup. If you didn't back up (via desktop manager) then you're truly hosed and all your data gone. There is no "un-delete" function.

Incidentally, before you're accused of being a dirty dirty spammer you might want to fix your profile. The 8900 model and Sprint do not work together. These forums are policed aggressively to prevent spamming and this is a classic tipoff that the account is not legit. Too often we see a person trying to post 10 times to allow him then to put links in future posts and advertise his garbage products. Don't let this happen to you!

I'd be pissed too. At myself 1) for not having a backup and 2) for allowing someone else to play with my phone. (And P.S., it doesn't take 3 hours to make a call.)
