Default Verizon BlackBerry 8330 will not Activate on BES

Please Login to Remove!

Yesterday Verizon swapped my original Curve 8330 for a new one because my battery wasn't charging...

The IT department gave me my new activation PIN and said that I was ready to activate the new BlackBerry on BES. When I went to activate the phone, it just stuck on the first line and didn't do anything. I immediately contacted my IT department and they tried putting me on a different BES server and that still did not work. I called Verizon Wireless and they had me wipe the phone and all sorts of things... This still didn't resolve the issue.

Is there any other way to get my e-mail account activated on the BlackBerry Enterprise Server. Has anyone ever heard of this happening?

What does this mean? Can you be more specific?

Are you sure you have an ENTERPRISE BlackBerry Data Plan on your account.
Maybe it was accidentally switched to a personal BlackBerry Data Plan when you changed devices.

I do have the BlackBerry Enterprise data package with Verizon. When I go to activate the BlackBerry on BES - I enter my e-mail and password and click activate; it just says...

Enterprise Activation
Activating [email address]...

-----------------------------------------------

And that is all it does... Nothing else happens.

Sounds like you're already doing everything you can do.
You'd need your BES admins to troubleshoot from the BES side at this point.

You may want to remove that email address if its real. (Just peace of mind)

Do you have a full data connection when starting the activation?

Other then that though as Penguin mentioned get the BES Admin involved.

Default State Database Delete

Have your IT Admins delete your State Database from your BES Server and then your account in the BB Manager. Had to do that yesterday to get one of my people upgraded to a Curve. Good Luck!
