When you say "bricking your phone again," did this not work on your 8320? I want to make sure before I install it..

Thanks

keep up the good work
I'm sorry I don't know what to tell you, because it works on my 8800 simulator and on the 8800s of all the other people who have downloaded it. I think something just may have gone wrong during installation on your device, or maybe you're on a BES with some strict security policies?
I've had all three bPhone themes installed (currently using the Today theme) on my new BB 8310 and I, too, experience this issue. I would be stuck on the "beach ball" hourglass, but it eventually takes me to the AT&T startup screen and finally the home screen after a COUPLE of minutes. To contrast, I have tested several times restarting my BB using the original AT&T theme and it would take me directly to the home screen within a couple of seconds after a restart.

I am continuing to use this really nice theme, but I hope these issues could be looked into and solved.

Thumbs up Nice Job!

Really Digging the theme, and thanks for making it free for us. One question...Is there a way that I can change the font in the messages view, etc. so that they are a little larger? I appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks again.

I'm pretty sure that all currently available themes will not display (or incorrectly display) the UMA signal indicators when using wi-fi on an 8320. I read somewhere that a fix is in the works.

Someday...

Sorry I can't be more specific than that. I have a lot of things going on right now, with my "real" job and a side business...I initially created the bPhone theme when I was in a bit of a lull. I do intend to return to it and address a few of these niggling issues at some point, and I have experimented with a few of them over the past few weeks but a lot of them are extremely time-consuming to track down. The theme software and the various device OSes have a lot of hidden, uh, "features" (read: bugs) that make straightforward elimination of certain things -- like the SYM delay/cutoff problem -- not so straightforward. This concept of themes for BB devices, I'm convinced, was at the very least not fully fleshed-out by the RIM development team, and at worst was just a tacked-on afterthought.

In the meantime, the theme seems to be working well for most people. I tend to be OCD about getting things perfect though, so fear not...I have not abandoned the theme at all. I am flattered that so many people like it and I sincerely thank those of you that have been able to donate a little something for my time. I hope Plazmic releases a new version of the theme editor soon...maybe it will include some additional control over interface elements, like WiFi indicators for you lucky WiFi Curve owners!

Now that 8703e has released 4.2 has anyone tried the theme on their blackberry or does anyone know if the 8700 version will work on the 8703e v4.2

I tried to load it and it appears in the Theme list, but I am unable to activiate it. I have an 8703e and just updated to the Verizon 4.2 OS.

The Zen theme works like a charm but the Today Theme does not allow for it to be activated. This is on the 8703e v 4.2
