Hi all - I am ordering a new bb on Friday this week, and have done a fair bit of research, and would appreciate any final thoughts/suggestions that people have around the 7250 vs the 7130e. I have been leaning towards the 7130e mainly because of form factor and the better screen. However, yesterday our corporate provider (Bell Mobility) has just dropped our price on the 7250 to $40 CDN. The 7130e is $140CDN. I am not concerend about Suretype as I have used T-9 keyboards lots in the past, but would appreciate hearing what the main pros and cons from any of you who have actually used both of these units in terms of:
  • features
  • form/function
  • sound quality
BT capabilities/ease of use.

Thanks.

I love my 7250 and it has always done me well. I switched to a xv6700 for a while and am SO GLAD to be back with a 7250. I like it so much I paid **almost** full retail for it as I am in-contract.

The 7250 feels solid and I know they hold up well cause the one I bought for my girlfriend must have come with butter on it as much as she drops it and it still runs flawless.

The 71xx series feels very (too) light to me. Some may like this.

I opted for the 7130e. A friend has the 7250, and I just like the form factor better. Seems easier to operated one-handed, and I am quickly getting used to Suretype.

I like my 7130 it took a few days to get use to suretype and once it starts learning words you type it get even better. The 7130 is much easier to talk on than a 7250 since it has a smaller footprint. Also with all the memory it has makes room for all the important things you need on a blackberry….
