Default New user - notification issue

Please Login to Remove!

I just moved from the 8300 Curve to the Storm. So far so good. But there is 1 issue that I can't seem to fix. It is in regards to notifications. When I try to change the notification sounds for an event such as email, messenger alert, facebook message etc, I can change the ringtone for the event, to make it unique, but it will only sound once. I can set the vibration duration and how many times, in holster or out, but with the audible alert, it will only sound once. The exeption is with the phone, which will ring untill I answer, or it goes to voicemail. With my curve, when a message came in, if it was in the holster, it vibrated twice, then gave me 3 audible alerts. Out of the holster it would give me 5 audible alerts. I do not see anywhere a count option for audible alerts. Under vibration there is a length and count option. Hopefully this is just an easy fix. I am slowly getting used to the Storm, and so far I like it. Having moved from Rogers after 4 years, it is going to take some getting used to the Bell network. Thanks in advance for any help

Unfortunately this is a feature that is missing from the Storm. There are a few third-party applications that may help but hopefully we'll see this feature return in a future OS revision.

Well at least I am not the only one with this issue. I hope it is a minor fix, that they feel is worth making. In case they don't, is there a way you can steer me towards the third-party app that you spoke of? Thank you.
